Atlanta Professional Women’s Wind Down, also known as APWWD, is a women-centered organization focused on connecting, empowering, and elevating women through professional networking, leadership development, mentorship, entrepreneurship education, community service, and sisterhood.

APWWD welcomes women who are interested in personal growth, professional development, entrepreneurship, leadership, networking, community involvement, and building meaningful relationships with other women.

You do not have to own a business or hold a leadership position to become a member.

Our mission is to empower women through leadership development, professional networking, entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and community support.

APWWD offers different membership levels designed to support members as they grow within the organization.

Gold Membership
Our beginner level for women who are learning about APWWD, building connections, and becoming involved.

Platinum Membership
Our intermediate level for women who are becoming more active, developing leadership skills, and contributing to the organization.

Black Membership
Our advanced level for women who demonstrate leadership, commitment, service, mentorship, and a desire to help build the future of APWWD.

Gold is designed to serve as the starting point for most new members. It gives women the opportunity to learn about APWWD, participate in activities, and begin building their path within the organization.

Yes. Supporters may purchase available APWWD merchandise unless a particular product or item is designated as members-only.

Purchasing merchandise is a great way to support our mission and represent the APWWD community.

Funds received by APWWD help support organizational programs, community outreach, educational opportunities, events, member resources, operational expenses, and initiatives that further our mission of empowering women.

APWWD began with its Atlanta roots and is expanding its mission into additional communities through chapters and partnerships.

Our goal is to build strong networks of women while maintaining the values, mission, and sisterhood that APWWD represents.

Members can become more involved by attending meetings, participating in events, volunteering, serving on committees, supporting community projects, completing leadership activities, and helping welcome and mentor other members.
